Chocolate Spinach Shot | Healthy Post Workout Smoothie – Vegan (No Milk) – No Sugar

Smoothies are basically your pureed raw fruits and vegetables. Smoothies are a great way to start your day and re-fuel right after a grueling workout.

There are lots of benefits of smoothies:

  • Aids in digestion
  • Enhances immunity
  • Improves Skin
  • Boots Brain Power
  • Controls Mood Swings
  • Provides good amount of fiber

In short, SMOOOOOOOTHIES are WONDERFUUUUUUL!!! 😍

If Popeye the Sailor Man could get his strength from spinach, then you could too because this leafy vegetable is considered a superfood. It is packed with health benefits. But most people do not like spinach. So, why not convert it into something delicious. 😋

So, today I have a chocolate spinach shot which is super healthy and super delicious. And you won’t even know that there is spinach inside. So, thumbs up for smoothies 👍

Ingredients

  • 1 fistful of spinach
  • 1 Banana
  • 1 tbsp flax seeds
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • ½ tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp water

Directions

  1. Put all the ingredients in the blender.
  2. Blend till everything is smooth.
  3. Serve immediately.
  4. Enjoy!!!

Tips

  • It is a great post workout smoothie. Have it after 10-15 minutes of your workout. This will give you amazing results with your workout.
  • Serve the smoothie right away to get the best fresh flavors. I don’t recommend making it ahead of time.
  • Use a  frozen banana to get a nice and chilled smoothie.
  • If you don’t have a frozen banana, then also you can have a chilled smoothie by just using chilled water.
  • You can increase or decrease the quantity of water depending upon the consistency you like.
