
I’m a chocolate lover and when it is added to the smoothie bowl it takes breakfast to the next level. This chocolate smoothie bowl is so deliciously awesome that any amount of words cannot describe this wonderful dish accurately. This recipe is one of the most loved breakfast recipes in my family. And the best part is that it does taste like you are eating an ice-cream for breakfast. 😍
Ingredients
- 4 Frozen Bananas
- 1 – 1.25 cup coconut milk
- 4 dates, deseeded
- 2 tablespoons cacao powder
- 1 pinch of cinnamon powder
- 1 pinch of rock salt
- 1 pinch of vanilla bean powder or ¼ tsp vanilla essence
Toppings:
- Fruits and Nuts according to your preference
Preparation
- Put all the ingredients into a blender and blend into a smooth puree.
- Pour it into a bowl.
- Top it with whatever fruits and nuts you like. I usually top my smoothie bowl with bananas, pomegranate, cacao nibs, almonds and chia seeds.
Tips
- Peel and chop the bananas before freezing.
- Use dates which are very soft for this recipe so that they can blend easily.
- Consume fresh. Do not store it in the refrigerator.
